The W-Hotel in Fort Lauderdale consists of 517 luxury condo/hotels with approximately 100,000 square feet of common area. All units and common areas are cabled with 10 Gig category 6 shielded cable. Approximately 10,000 Category 6 Shielded Voice/Data and CATV cables were installed with fiber optic and copper backbones to interconnect approximately 50 communication rooms. (Over a million feet of Shielded 10 Gig Category 6 cables were installed).
