The W-Hotel in South Beach consists of 419 luxury condo/hotels with approximately 50,000 square feet of common area. All units and common areas will be cabled with 10 Gig category 6 shielded cable. Approximately 8,000 Category 6 Shielded Voice/Data and CATV cables are being installed with fiber optic and copper backbones to interconnect approximately 30 communication rooms. (Over 600,000 feet of Shielded 10 Gig Category 6 cables will be installed).
