WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY

 Wireless transmission of Inter-Building linking was the wave of the future, and now exists with remarkable results.  While eliminating the expense of constructing costly fiber optic systems, the Inter-Building link accommodates future growth at minimal expense to the user. 

The Inter-Building link can transmit via microwave at rates of 2 MBPS/4 MBPS or up to 480 MBPS, depending on the needs of the system 

Jade Communications Inc., Has recently completed the installation and testing of approximitly 200 wireless access pointsfor Florida Atlantic University. This wireless system enabled approximately 6000 students and faculty to access the Universituy's network.  

Wireless technology enables us to avoid the costly need for T-1 links, while providing redundancy where a T-1 link presently exists.  The wireless technology has the capability of transmitting Voice and Data, as well as Video. 

Recently JCI installed a point-to-point wireless system for the city of Lauderhill Florida. The system shoots from their water treatment plant across the Florida Turnpike to the main city hall.
